Abstract—We report here on the design, fabrication and char-acterization of 48-channel parallel optical transceivers demon-strating terabit/sec data transfer rate. 5 Gb/s giving an aggregate data rate of 102 Gb/s is demonstrated, to the authors' knowledge, for the first time.
