  • Maintain the minimum bend radius to prevent signal loss or fiber breakage .

  • Insert the prepared fiber cable through the cable entry port, often protected by a rubber diaphragm .
  • Use the internal plastic guide posts or trays to route the fibers neatly, coiling any excess length to avoid tangling .
  • Secure the cable with clamping straps or cable ties at the splice tray entry point .

Step 5: Splice or Connect Fibers

  • For splicing, use a fusion splicer to connect the incoming fiber to pre-terminated pigtails .
  • Place the spliced fibers into the splice tray to protect them from bending or damage .
  • If using pre-terminated connectors, plug the fiber ends directly into the adapter panel (SC, ST, LC, etc.), .
